Incarnational Mission - day with Michael Frost
Urban Expression and the Incarnate Network (www.incarnate-network.eu) are jointly hosting a day with Michael Frost on the subject of Incarnational Mission on Thursday 9 October 2008. This will take place at the new Church Mission Society centre in Oxford.
Michael Frost, vice-principal of Morling College in Sydney, is involved in an emerging missional community in the city known as smallboatbigsea. He is known to many of us as the co-author (with Alan Hirsch) of The Shaping of Things to Come and the author of
The day will run from 10.00 to 4.30 and we have invited Michael to explore with us two main issues:
• What are the implications of an incarnational approach to mission?
• How can indigenous leaders be empowered and released?
