Church Plant Strategy Document - Urban Expression Glasgow

Check out this link to download the strategy document that Esther and I have created for our work here in Glasgow. When we contacted other church planting ministries here in Scotland, and also amongst the teams down south, we discovered that no-one had set down their thoughts in advance as to what some of their values might be or the parameters on their ministry. We weren't sure whether we should wait and allow things to grow organically or not. But then we realised that a document like this could be really helpful for people who were potential recruits but who weren't sure what it all might look like, and needed something to grasp a hold of to understand more deeply what they might be getting themselves into. We've taken great care to emphasise the "snap-shot" nature of the document and emphasise that its currently descriptive of where we are at rather than prescriptive of where it will all end up. We'd really apprecaite any feedback that folk have on this one. Also to emphasise that although we have written it for the Wyndford area of Glasgow, we still have not finalised our location, as yet.
