Build houses and plants gardens...

A focus for us recently has been on buying our homes and work on improving them. This takes time and energy (and money!). I have been encouraged recently by reading Jeremiah 29 ‘build houses and plant gardens…’ God caused the Israelites to be exiled into Babylon for his own purposes. They were to settle because they were to be his ambassadors there for 70 years. What’s a couple of years spent settling in the grand scheme of things? We’re in this for the long haul.
